Struggling finding things to do
Hi all,
Wanted to try and get some advice. I’ve lived here for 3 months or so, and have found myself pretty bored. I have a fairly busy schedule and not a lot of money. Signed up for the inquirer’s weekly list, been following @whenwherewhatphilly, but haven’t found a lot of stuff I’ve really enjoyed/could afford. Feel like lots of the stuff is either “come and walk around and buy things” or “here is a $30-50 event!”
I enjoy nature, hiking, arts/crafts, and lots of the sort. Not a big foodie or a shopper given my budget, like to out with friends if there is a theme or something of the sort.
I’ve lived in a number other cities around the world. I reflected a bit and realized lots of them had good nearby nature access, and/or have the size/location to pull in a lot of shit I like. Thought Philly would be more like the latter, but hasn’t been the case.
Going to try some shit from the 300 holiday events list. Any other advice or perspective would be appreciated!
