M27 Muslim parents reject my F25 Christian fiancée, say she’s using me, call her emotions fake, and demand she converts. My dad said I wouldn’t be his son. I live with her now and need advice on staying distant or moving forward

I live peacefully with my fiancée now in our own home. She and her family treat me with genuine respect and kindness.

Before I moved out or got engaged, my dad told me that if I ever got engaged to her, I would no longer be his son. Because of all of this, my perspective on my religion has changed.

My sister recently had three wedding ceremonies. One at home in Los Angeles, one at a mosque and restaurant in Orange County, and one in Jakarta. Everything was paid for by my parents and centered around creating the perfect Muslim family image.

I did not want to travel to Indonesia because my parents never supported my relationship and have disrespected my fiancée many times. But I still went to support my sister.

Before leaving, my fiancée cried nonstop because she was hurt by their treatment and did not want me to go alone. I showed my parents the video to show her love for me. They dismissed it and said she was acting dramatically to manipulate me.

At my birthday dinner last year, my dad wished out loud that he hoped I would end up with a Muslim girl, even though my fiancée and her parents were sitting right there.

My parents treated my sister’s husband’s Muslim family like royalty. They cleaned the whole house, acted extremely polite, and put them on a pedestal. But when it came to my fiancée’s family, they delayed meeting them and barely put in any effort.

After the wedding, I learned they were talking badly behind her back. They said she wants me for a green card, said her crying was fake, and even claimed the expensive Thanksgiving gift she wanted to give me was “bribing” me for papers.

Recently my fiancée picked up my sister from the airport and told her she no longer feels comfortable around my parents. My sister apologized, said my parents are not open minded, but did not want to intervene.

My parents told me they will not approve our marriage unless she converts to Islam. Meanwhile, my fiancée has never pressured me to convert.

I will choose my fiancée over my rude and biased parents, because she is the woman I want to build a family with. But I am struggling with how to move forward. I want to protect her, but also handle my parents in a peaceful way.

My question: Has anyone gone through something like this? Should I continue distancing myself? Should I keep my fiancée away from them completely? How do I move forward without destroying the relationship completely?

TL;DR: M27 Muslim parents reject my F25 Christian Chinese-Indo fiancée, say she is using me, call her emotions fake, demand she converts, and treat her family poorly. Dad said I would not be his son if I got engaged. I live with her now. Need advice on distancing or moving forward.
