Advice please
I’m in the process of becoming a substitute teacher after working full time for five years. I’m making the change because I need more flexibility since I’ll be in and out of the city a lot.
A principal I sent my resume to for nomination saw my teaching credentials and got really impressed. She wants me as a full time teacher, but I told her I’m only interested in per diem work right now. She then asked if I’d be interested in working at her school this month. For context, this is not the school that nominated me.
I’m just worried I might get stuck doing the heavy work that full time teachers do, but maybe I’m overthinking it. Do you think it’s worth accepting her offer?
