[PubQ] R&R Exclusive Submission Deadlines for Big Fives

Hi all!! I wanted to ask something, especially as R&Rs seem to be getting more common…

1. If you’ve had an R&R experience with a Big Five editor, I’d love to hear positive outcomes or anecdotes?

2. For those who’ve been through an exclusive R&R: how did your timing play out? Did anyone get passes on the final exclusive deadline day? Did anyone get offers on the final exclusive deadline day? We have the editor 3 weeks and are pushing up against the deadline day (Thursday). They expressed strong excitement and I’d like to think they wouldn’t give a pass on the final day after asking for a couple more days extension, but would love to know any experiences!

Thanks in advance; I think any more transparency on exclusive R&Rs specifically would be hugely helpful for all of us navigating them.
