Having such a rough pregnancy...

Rant

...and it's barely even related to being pregnant. First trimester wasn't great with nausea and vomiting but I got through it. The past month has been just worse and worse by the day. (27 weeks now)

The whole family got a sick a month ago and the cough hasn't gone away for me. About a week into coughing my pelvic floor gave up and I'm just wearing a pad or diaper insert at all times.

Two weeks ago I coughed really hard and heard a pop. Something happened in my ribs. Saw the chiropractor three times and it was getting better but the past few days have been really painful. Still coughing, which is then triggering more pain.

Last week my old bottles of Tide Free and Clear finally ran out so I decided to try Tide Free and Gentle Odor Refresh. Now my toddler has hives and my husband has a rash, and my arm is itching with a few hives. I use cloth diapers so everything including clothes and diapers had to be rewashed multiple times. I'm still not convinced I got it all out.

The toddler is congested and coughing again.

Then this evening for the big finale, as I was stepping over the baby gate which usually do because I'm tall, I fell and twisted my ankle. I've never felt anything like this before. My mom was a nurse and she was here, she doesn't think it's sprained because it's swollen but not bruised. Possibly a small fracture somewhere, or maybe just pulled a tendon. We're debating whether I should go to a Well Now but I really just want to sit on the couch. And my husband has a lot of extra work projects this week so he's stressed already but now he's on toddler duty since I can barely turn from side to side let alone get up and walk.

It's just all so much. I haven't been on my best with the coughing every 2-3 minutes which then causes the rib pain, but now I'm really just useless. And the detergent and stepping over the gate were 100% my fault too... But at least the baby is kicking 😞
