Need help with car breaks

Hello!

My name is Travis and I am a 19 year old full time college student. I have been living in my car since May of this year. I just got a job last month which helps me pay my bills ($400 for car insurance, $25 phone bill, gas and food) but I don’t have money for anything else. Last week I worked four hours and this week I worked eight, so I don’t make enough for much else.

My issue is that my car brakes badly need to be replaced since January of this year, however I can’t afford to have them replaced. In total it would cost $375 to have them replaced, any help would be appreciated. I obviously don’t expect anyone to help me with the full amount, but anything would help. I don’t have any apps to receive money, but my best friend has Venmo and PayPal, so you can send it to him and he can send it to me.

Also any resources in my area would be appreciated! I have emailed Rainbow Resources Community Center already and waiting to hear back. I am also in contact with Covenant House. If anyone knows of any car repair resources in the Bay Area (Northern California) that would be helpful as well!
