[Discussion] Hot Take: The biggest problem in Tarkov isn’t cheaters, the engine, or BSG — it’s every single one of us.
Every inch in this community wants a different version of Tarkov, and somehow all of them are incompatible:
- Rats want audio fixed so they can hear everything… except the guy they’re trying to ambush.
- Chads want recoil so low they can two-tap someone across Streets while blindfolded.
- Casuals want easier quests but also want the game to “stay hardcore.”
- Veterans are still arguing about pre-0.12 recoil like it’s a religion.
- Audio complainers swear every death is “silent footsteps,” even when it was a guy playing the xylophone behind them.
- Cheater hunters think every level 50 player is a hacker unless proven otherwise in court.
- Flea market economists write full PhD dissertations on why M855A1 should be 2 rubles cheaper.
- Unity defenders claim “the engine is fine” while the game turns into a flipbook on Streets.
- Desync truthers believe every gunfight is decided 3 seconds before it starts because “the server predicted my death.”
- And weight-stamina haters want to carry 95 kg of loot and still move like Usain Bolt.
Meanwhile BSG is like:
“We hear your concerns, so we’ve added a new mug to an admin office on Lighthouse.”
At this point Tarkov doesn’t need a new engine — it needs a group intervention.
Go ahead. Tell me why I’m wrong. I know the whole sub is about to try anyway.
