first gaming laptop (lenovo loq), any tips?

Hi I just got my first ever laptop (lenovo loq) on a black friday sale and I was wondering if there's anything I should be doing past the initial (default) setup? I've heard about bloatware and things clogging up RAM but I'm not really sure where to start and I really don't wanna accidentally break this before i've even properly used it, any tips would be appreciated!
