Salutation stash size change?

I have had two pairs of salutation stash, both bought a few years ago. I ordered 3 new pairs, same size - the new leggings are significantly tighter than the older ones, all size small. When I put them up against each other for comparison, the new leggings are easily 1” less in the waistband and hips. I don’t feel like they’ve stretched out, but maybe they have? I feel like I may need to move up to a medium (even though the others all still fit). Anyone else notice this?
