Need a laptop recommendation for my GF’s Christmas gift.

Only if fairly new and reputable.

• How would you prioritize form factor (ultrabook, 2-in-1, etc.), build quality, performance, and battery life?

We need performance enough for streaming, video editing and possibly gaming.

Medium. Doesn’t need to be ultra small but we don’t want a bulky mess.

OBS at a minimum for streaming, but she also may be doing voice acting work as well so whatever programs do that.

• If you're gaming, do you have certain games you want to play? At what settings and FPS do you want?

I’d say light on the gaming, if at all.

• Any specific requirements such as good keyboard, reliable build quality, touch-screen, finger-print reader, optical drive or good input devices (keyboard/touchpad)?

Doesn’t have to be touchscreen, but we’re looking for a sturdy (but light) moderately powerful laptop.

I’d like to get her something midrange but that will last a few years. Really prefer laptops without bloatware.
