Anyone not have a terrible experience with Tamoxifen or Aromatase inhibitors?

Was diagnosed with DCIS in June. HR+/HER2 - . Had double mastectomy direct to implant. (Tested positive for the PALB2 mutation which raised my chances of an unrelated secondary breast cancer in right non cancerous breast) Got through 4 rounds of TC chemo and even with the hair loss am feeling pretty good all things considering. But I’m supposed to start endocrine therapy after the holidays. I’m 49 and am currently in chemopause but still need labs done to check my estradiol and FSH levels to decide whether I need ovarian suppression if I go the AI route. All I hear are horror stories regarding both drugs especially for women who were pre or perimenopausal. My oncologist is big on quality of life and would have no issue changing my treatment if my side effects are intolerable. But did anyone on here not have many symptoms? Or tolerated these drugs well? Also bring on more horror stories as well since I want to be as prepared as possible !
