Baby Lounger

Hi everyone, a friend recommended to me a baby lounger basically similar to the one linked below with rationale that the tight environment resembles the one in womb. Her daughter is currently 6 months and has been sleeping in it happily since birth.

I saw some previous posts about baby loungers but without specific product mentioned (I know some are fully curved and baby's head is not on the flat surface) - the one she has is similar to the one linked below where the head is flat and only the sides are touching the baby.

Could anyone advise if it could be unsafe and if so, why? My friend's baby seems to be happy in it so I'm eager to try it when my bub comes (she wants to gift it to me), but I want to be sure I'm making the right & safe decision.
