Creche or moonrise tower?

I didn’t recruit lazel back in the first minutes of the game, so I ended up recruiting she in that bridge with the red dragon and the others npcs from her race. It happens that now she is in my party and said that the cure is in the creche, but at the same time, halsin said that I need to go to the moonrise tower to get the cure. I know that eventually I will end up in the moonrise towers but I was wondering if I go the the creche I will lose some character or change the direction of the story for good.
