Transitioning straight from breast to sip cup? (4 month old not taking bottle)

My 4 month old has been exclusively directly breastfed since birth. We tried to introduce bottles just the past week or two with no success. Is it possible to go straight to sip cup at around 6 months? Without using the bottle in between?

Something like the munchkin latch sip cup?
