Best brown mascara that doesn’t smudge?

Hi all. I am in desperate search for a brown mascara but I’m very picky so looking for some expertise !!

Ideally I’m looking for a true brown but the most important thing is that it DOES NOT SMUDGE/TRANSFER. I see so many influencers promoting mascara on TikTok and it always looks amazing but they only apply on their top lashes & then when I buy it and apply on my bottom lashes I have racoon eyes within an hour! I also don’t mind a waterproof mascara but these are so hard to find in brown.

The ones I’ve tried so far are Maybelline sky high (not enough volume) , Benefit Bad Gal Bang (messy formula & dried up very quick for the money), Lancôme lash idole (flaked onto my under eyes) & I’m currently working through MAC Stack and although I do like it, again it smudges if I’m not careful & despite being brown it almost looks black ??

Budget wise, I don’t mind spending more if it’s going to tick all the boxes but an affordable one would be great. For reference I’m based in Ireland so looking for anything available in the UK/Europe. Any recommendations would be much appreciated and thank you in advance !!
