[PS][2005-2010] Medieval RPG

Hey y'all, this is a game I've been trying to remember for the last decade from my childhood, can't remember much about it as I was a dumb kid who could barely get past the first hour before getting confused but I've always wanted to find out what game this is.

Games I know it's not: Magna Carta, Legend of Alon D'ar, Evergrace, Drakengard, Shadow Hearts.

Platform(s): PS2

Genre: Medieval RPG

Estimated year of release: 2005-2010

Graphics/art style: Similar to Final Fantasy late PS2 era (FFX/FF12) with a more realistic style.

Notable characters: Male Protagonist, meets the female lead really early on and teams up.

Notable gameplay mechanics: Maybe Isometric? I remember the camera being mostly up above the protagonist like a crane camera

Other details: I remember very early on you enter a major capital city and sneak into the sewers, this is either where you meet the female lead or just before, the sewers have aqueducts lining the walls.
