Caribbean travel during govt advisories

We are booked for a Aruban sights / Antiguan Nights cruise in May. One of the people in our party is concerned about the Venezuelan travel ban fearing that whatever is going on with that may impact our Caribbean ports. Either the reported dangers or increased govt advisories. Curious if others have traveled to such ports under similar circumstances and what your experience was. TIA!
