BCPS recertification options with ASHP

My BCPS expires 12/31/29, just about 4 years from now. Will be my first time recertifying. I am considering the ASHP 3 year and 1 year recert programs - only want to go for 1 year because much less expensive (non ASHP member price), and want to get it all done with asap and have behind me.

Anyone have experience with the ASHP 1 year and 3 year BCPS recert programs ? Pros and cons ? Recommendations ?
