Leaving my boyfriend alone during the holidays

This is a last minute trip. My sister wants me to come to Texas to visit for the holidays. My mom has already decided and my oldest sister and her husband might be coming as well. I wasn’t planning on going anywhere for the holidays but it’ll be our first Christmas as a family since 2021. However, the issue is my boyfriend will be alone during that time. He, unfortunately, cannot go home this year to his family or anywhere due to a new job. I feel bad for leaving him and it would be great to celebrate our first Christmas together. I just can’t decide what I should do. I have never spent Christmas without family, especially without my mom. My boyfriend has spent the holidays by himself before due to his military past but that was before we met. We’ve spent Thanksgiving together for the past 3 years though. I guess I just want to be able to do both, however, I don’t want to deal with the airport crowds around Christmas. Even if I don’t spend Christmas with him, any advice on how to make him feel loved before and after my trip? I do plan on spending New Year’s Eve and Day with him.
