Friends Trying to Ruin the Show Made it Better

In my friend group I’m known for making jokes and then kinda dragging them on in a funny way. For context, sometimes I’ll hyper fixate on a band, show, or movie, and then crack a joke about it any chance I get. So, when I first started watching House I obviously started talking about it all the time and so eventually my friends decided to try and prank me and spoil the end of the show for me. The did so by telling me that House dies (which is half true and half not). So now months later I’m watching the finale and I’m seeing House in that burning building and I’m sitting there thinking “wow he’s really gonna die.” Of course as you all know he doesn’t and that fake spoiler really just tied a huge ribbon in the show for me making it all the better.
