Audit to Advisory

I just joined the company in Audit TMT. Although I just joined I already want to leave for advisory. People say I have to network, but how exactly? Do I just start telling everybody I want to switch? Do I hit up random advisory peeps? What are some actionable steps for me to take to actually make it possible to switch? Also, Should I bring up to my Talent Consultant / DL (Senior Manager)?

I know this topic comes up a lot so apologies but thanks for your time and input.
