Feeling defeated

My sugars have been out of control despite diet, exercise, and medications. The doctor mentioned today that if we don’t get them under control I may need to be admitted to the hospital for more aggressive management. I’m only 35 weeks but baby is measuring 3 weeks ahead in the head and 2 weeks ahead in abdomen.

We’re going to increase my medication dose and go from there but I’m just feeling so overwhelmed and not sure what else I can do.

Have any of you guys had to be admitted to hospital? What’s the earliest you had to deliver due to uncontrolled GD? My doc mentioned we’re not going past 39 weeks but at this point I feel like it may be necessary to deliver even sooner. I’ll of course chat with my doctor but wanted to hear some stories as well.
