I need external verification for this for some reason. Is heat f your self in the head really hard self harm?

Like the title says. Is hiring yourself in the head hard enough to get flashes of light considered self harm? I don’t want to ask people around me, but need external verification please. I know it is obvious it I need to hear it from other people.
