I think the new shutter speed feature is great but kinda underwhelming.

I mostly use it to catch lighting in my photos and try to combine it with other weather effects like fog. It’s not perfect but it’s definitely worth having.

I just think (and this might be a hot take) I think yoteis photo mode is a little…outdated? Maybe that’s too harsh and maybe I’m using the wrong word. Perhaps underwhelming is a better word but I do believe that other games raised the bar for photo mode. Don’t get me wrong Tsushima was great and that game single-handedly made photo mode fun and easily accessible for people. It introduced people to photo mode simply because it has the animations still going on whilst the game is paused. It looks beautiful and it raised the bar for photo mode for gaming. However since then we’ve had games like spider man 2 and cyberpunk add the ability to customise your lighting to the T and add light bulbs to highlight certain parts of the image. Things like outfit swapping mid photo or adding npcs with their own unique poses. Yotei falls short in regard and I’d love for them to add this kind of stuff in a patch.
