I'm Sunni but the guy I like is Ahmadi what should I do?

So I've recently been talking to a guy and he's literally perfect in EVERY way. Like he's genuinely my ideal guy and I truly believe this is a gift from Allah. But then he just told me he's Ahmadi. And we both said we don't care but I know in the future we very much will care because there will be topics we won't see eye to eye on. He also told me that his parents are kinda chill and they wouldn't care that I am Sunni but my parents would very much care and they would definitely not approve of him just because he's Ahmadi. I don't know what to do know because we both really like eachother and we want to make this work and I told him my parents would only accept him if he became Sunni but I would want him to do that for HIMSELF after learning more about Sunni Islam, not just so he can marry me. I really don't know what to do can someone please give advice?

*Also I'm not trying to offend anyone I'm just expressing my worries about my future with this guy because I know Sunni's and Ahmadi's have some conflicting beliefs.
