"Disconnected from server. Please try again later." Help

Been playing for 3 years, but left during 2.5 anniversary and missed 3rd ann. Today I freshly reinstalled the game, and the 18gb (!) update. Did stuff like shopping, pulling, and advise session, but when I went to Interception and it finished loading, this message popped up. Pressing confirm is the only option which sends me back to the main menu.

This happens with any battles, I can't use interception, tribe tower, or play the campaign. Same issue. I tried clearing cache and closing & opening the game and launcher, but to no avail. I never had this issue before, so if someone did, how did you fix it?
