I know it's late but I just saw Together.m

I might rewwatch but I'm interested with the Cult just like the cult in Bring her back.

So basically the couple are doomed after drinking the water in the cave? But if they didn't fell into the cave they would be fine right? Or the cult or remaining cult members in the town will find a way to fuse them and be one of them?

And I'm assuming that the fused couple in the Cave that Tim saw were the missing couple right? And I'm assuming that they didn't find their way out there unlike Tim and Millie and the fusion was unsuccessful because the other one died mid fusion? Because it looks like the other stabbed in the neck.

And to break the fusion, 1 of them should die before their bodies connect? Am I right?
