I'm in quite the predicament

So my long distance boyfriend said that he's not sure he can handle a relationship rn and he's thinking over if he wants a break in our relationship or to break up. So we aren't officially broken up yet but he's barely texted me in the past few weeks. So I've made friends with another guy and we've been good friends and talking a lot and kinda almost flirting but I thought it was all platonic. Now my friend just confessed to me and said he wants to be more than friends but I wasn't planning on dating for a while after this past relationship. Idk, I love my current boyfriend but he hasn't been able to talk at all lately and he says he might want to break I but I feel terrible accepting this other friend as a bf. Idk what to do sorry.
