my roommate moved out, but her stuff is still here. how do i get rid of it?

I’m gonna try to keep this short. My friend, and I signed a lease back in October for an apartment. She hasn’t spent a single night in the apartment since she moved her stuff in on October 1st, 2025. Last month, she told me that she would be moving in December, thus not paying the rent any longer, but there’s no way to get her name off the lease. She has been living with her boyfriend in a different town ever since we moved in in October, however, all of her stuff is still here. It’s December 2nd, 2025 as of writing this. I can’t move a new roommate in until all of her stuff is out, but she’s no longer answering my texts or calls (hasn’t in weeks) even though she said she’d be here to get her stuff by now. My question is:

Can I put her stuff out on the lawn and send her a text to come get it before the trash collects next week? Or would that result in legal action against me? What are my options for getting her stuff out so I can get a new roommate in?
