How to get opportunities for different level of items?

Hi! So I’m trying to figure out how to get to the level of getting different tiers of make up so for example if I am at elf now how can I get the chance to get higher end make up or perfume like Dior or Prada? Did you guys start at a drug store brand and continue to work up?
