This is John Taylor with an update. I reached out to Aura Macroti, the Greek animal rights activist Kiley mentioned in her last post and asked if she knew anything about the 2016 Isla Sorna expedition known as Operation Dark Bird.

Kiley wasn't kidding when she said she documented enough photos to blow the whole thing wide open.

The short version is, apparently Operation Dark Bird was Extinction Now's response to another whistleblower blowing the lid off of a 1998 illegal dino cloning project on Isla Sorna that was apparently aborted under unknown circumstances. The project was apparently codenamed Regenesis. Aura has no idea whether this happened before or after Hurricane Clarissa hit Isla Sorna.

You're not going to believe this, but Aura documented evidence that Project Regensis was apparently the first attempt at creating hybrid dinosaurs, some of which went on to become the Indominus Rex and the Indoraptor.

Apparently the hybrid dinos found on Isla Sorna in 2016 were "discarded prototypes" from Project Regenesis. The dinos found were pretty much prototype versions of the Indoraptor and Indominus Rex that went under different names, along with the native dino species originally cloned there.

The prototype Indominus Rex, for example, was called a "Heteromoloch" (Different Demon) and the prototype Indoraptor was called "Neomoloch" (New Demon).

The mercenaries sent to Sorna managed to eliminate about nine of specimens on Sorna before the mission had to be aborted due to DX infections. Aura couldn't tell me exactly how many hybrids were on Sorna by the time the expedition/kill mission occurred but one piece of footage showed Aura looking at records at an abandoned lab.

Based on what I could see in that specific video, there were at least twelve confirmed hybrids roaming Isla Sorna from Project Regenesis's termination until the launch of Operation Dark Bird in 2016.

The crazy part? Those hybrids were capable of asexual reproduction. There's one frame in the video where Aura reads a set of research notes and asexual reproduction was mentioned multiple times.

I showed both Kiley Duvall and the Murphy siblings Aura's footage and they immediately thought back to the photo of the military soldiers on Isla Sorna that I mentioned in my last post. Our new theory as of right now is that those guys were sent to Isla Sorna to finish where the mercs from Operation Dark Bird left off.

If so...God be with those people. Worst case scenario, DX is gonna get those guys. Then it's Dark Bird all over again.

"Protoype" hybrid dinosaurs documented on Isla Sorna!
