Can someone tell me what’s going on with this guy I’ve been seeing?

So I’ve been sleeping with someone casually for less than a month or so. But we’ve only had sex like 5 times in that amount of time. It’s literally just been sex for the most part. We have conversations of course but no dates or anything like that. Anyways the first couple of times we slept together I would classify as more of a “fuck” if that makes sense. But this last time I definitely felt a shift. He wanted more eye contact, hand holding, and just overall seemed like he wanted as much skin to skin as physically possible. Not sure how else to explain it but it definitely felt like more relationship sex. The thing is though after the first encounter we both pretty much agreed we weren’t exactly looking for something serious, just going with the flow. Also he randomly gets a bit flaky between meet-ups like he’s almost avoiding me. It’s so weird I feel like I just can’t figure him out. Anyone have insight? Is he hiding a secret gf? Is he catching feelings and getting freaked out about it? Can you even catch feelings in that amount of time with just sex? Don’t get me wrong the sex is insane I’m just so confused
