Everyone wants a serious relationship, until they meet me 🙄

I’m tired of dating/looking. I’m not here for a “fun time” or to “see where things go”. I know what I want and can communicate that very easily and I always do. I’m very upfront with who am and what I want, and yet there’s still people in my DMs wasting my time. They can’t even answer simple questions about themselves. They don’t know what they want. They were “sO inTriGuED bY My poSt” but can’t tell me what intrigued them🙄. It’s ridiculous. Everyone wants a serious relationship, until they meet me and realize that even starting something serious takes work, communication, honesty, etc etc and then they don’t wanna do the work as simple as telling me their favorite color 🙄. Maybe I take dating too serious and I ask deep questions, but why not? This person is literally going to be the person I lean on and support through the thick and thin of life. Through marriage, childbirth, death of loved ones, moving across the country or to a different country, traveling, poor or rich etc! I should take it seriously. And having high standards, expectations and boundaries is not being prudent. It means I know what I will and will not compromise on when it comes to love. And I’m soo easy to love but again even doing the bare minimum for me seems like too much to ask for. It’s one thing if we don’t align on views and things like that but don’t waste my time and complain about how you can’t find love when there’s a serious person in front of you and you’re too lazy to do the work it takes to have a relationship.
