Expeditions question

So I’ve got the caravan ready to go but now I’m unsure if it’s worth me going for it I’ve only been playing for a about a week currently I’m level 36 have quite a few purple guns and augments from PvP only have about 10 blue prints jw can I back out of going even after maxing the caravan or am I now forced to go ??
