Potential new player - PC EU

Greetings everyone, I hope you are all well.

I recently layed my eyes on Fallout 76, I have been playing mmorpg's like Final Fantasy 14, a little bit of Guild Wars 2 and World of Warcraft but mainly WoW.
I'm looking for a change os scenery, games like Lord of the Rings Online for example anow more on the sci-fi side with Fallout 76.

All those years ago I played Fallout 3, it was the only fallout game that I played.
About Fallout 76 all that I know is that it had a rough launch.

How's the game these days? Has it been improved?
In terms of performance, how well does it run on PC?
About the content in Fallout 76, what is there to do by players? Since it is a mmorpg, are there any dungeons or something similar, or even raids?

Is there a player driven economy and if so how does it work?
Are there any professions for gathering and crafting like fishing for example, or a blacksmith?

Some mmorpg's do promise a lot with a huge world that's worth to be explored but when the time comes they feel lackluster and boring, most things happen at surface level.
Does Fallout 76 have any verticality in the sense that the world is worth to explore at the surface level and also underground?
