Question to fellow women, Why taller men???

Height does not matter to me as long as the guy isn’t shorter than me. But I’ve seen my friends and many women who don’t even consider dating men who are same height or slightly taller than them? Which I find crazy tbh, like what does height particularly do that makes you like the tall guy more than the one same height as you? I was asking my friends about this and most of their answers were just “idk I just like it” which makes zero sense.

I feel like it’s not at all fair to like or unlike someone based on something they can’t change? I wanted to know what other women think about this and maybe I can get some answer of this lmao.
