amft # still in progress

hello! i'm a therapist awaiting my amft number. according to the bbs facebook page, i should get it within the next 3-4 weeks. i am beyond the 90 day live scan timeframe, so wouldn't be able to start working until i have my number.

is it pointless to start applying for jobs? i'm looking for salaried and benefitted work in los angeles, so would be applying to agencies, etc and not private practices.
