Isn't the price quite misleading?
I bought the Qingping Air Quality Monitor 2nd gen but read some more reviews and thought for $20 more I will buy the AirGradient ONE kit at $138 (per the website) instead. So I add it to my cart. Then it says that the total for is is $189.22??? Over 1/3 higher than advertised.
An extra $50!
$25 shipping is a bit steep, but sure. But then an extra $26.22 for US Customs fees. Now, I completely understand that this is the sad reality of the economy; HOWEVER, you shouldn't be able to claim to be $138 when buying 1 is actually $189.22.
It went from a small premium over the competing product to 1.5x the price. That's a completely different price bracket. And then review sites compare it to others at a $138 price point when it really is a $190 price point.
Again, I 100% understand that if those are the costs, those are the costs. But you shouldn't be able to say 1 price, have everyone compare it at that price, and then actually have an additional 38% tacked on at checkout.
