Recruitment outcomes

Apologies in advance if this is a repeated question. While I have read threads on APS interviews and understand there is no set timeline for the process, I am struggling with the wait!

I am trying to understand expectations around communication post-interview with the NSW DCJ, particularly for candidates who have progressed through to referee checks.

I interviewed, my referees were requested and filled their forms in promptly.

(Is anyone aware of DCJ process for referees? Do they only request referees for a few likely candidates, or all the interviewees?)

After a month I wrote to the recruitment contacts to follow up, and received a response that they hoped it would be finalised that week.

2 weeks after that I wrote again and have heard nothing back at all, that was 9 days ago now.

I checked my application in the portal and there is no indication that I can see there. Is there any other way I can check on the position being filled or not?

I am very keen on this job and would like to know if I have been (or still have a chance at being) successful, or whether I should just stop thinking about it!
