I'm starting to get really sick of my 4b-4c hair.
To start it off I love black hair. I like how versatile it is and how it looks in its natural state, but I'm so sick of taking care of it. Im a senior in highschool and I've been trying to learn how to take care of my hair my whole life, but I just can't seem to get the hang off it. My mom has been doing it for my whole life, which has made my hair long and healthy (about waist length when straightened) but everytime I get my hands on it I just break it off at an abnormal rate and it starts to look untamed and dry. I don't think I can handle this when I go off to college. I'm a naturally lazy person and I can't find the motivation to get up and do it after school, especially after sports and homework. I know how to detangle it, but my hair is THICK and it takes alot of patience and time that I don't have. I don't put braids in my hair, I don't wear wigs, and my hair won't stay straight for shit. I'm really at a loss here. I want to keep it long and healthy like its been my whole life but it doesn't seem like that's going to happen.
