The Teens Are All Right

A little story for the group - I'm usually a devoted early morning gym goer, but this week, my schedule shifted so I'm going in during the mid-afternoon. And my gym is swimming with teens around that time.

Today was leg day, and I took the last deadlift platform. The other racks are full of random teens in groups, which I do usually find annoying. But the one next to me is a group of boys, maybe 16 or 17. This group though must be pretty new to lifting because they're working in with some light weights. The last kid added a few pounds and hit a personal best. His buddies all congratulate him and they take a photo together. It was kind of nice to see the kids supporting each other like that.
