Issue getting photos off Kodak Charmera

I recently got one of the kodak charmeras and can’t get the photos off of it - anyone else have this experience as well?

-I’ve tried using the USB-C to connect directly to my iphone as well as to a windows laptop, no luck. -Then tried the micro sd with every combination of adaptor and device I have in my arsenal. Still no luck. -One of my micro sd’s have other photos on it and those come up but not the charmera ones. -They show up on the camera screen when you look back but just not on the cards, I’ve hunted both via files and photos to no avail.

Have never had this much trouble with this part of the creative process. Would appreciate any potential solutions or expressions of common woes
