After disengaging with Gen AI, I feel like my brain is slowly fixing itself.
For the past 2-3 years I've engaged in some AI, more specifically Gen AI chatbots because I thought the concept talking to fictional characters using an Gen AI chatbot system to minic said characters seemed intriguing.
But I slowly became addicted to it, socially isolating myself from the real world, but now in the big 2025, I decided to disengage with it to see what happens.
And recently I feel like I can think properly again, I can critically think properly, talk normally without stuttering or fucking up my sentences.
I don't know if there is some study that shows that Gen AI rots your brain but I feel like I can function properly after stopping Gen AI.
I kind of feel embarrassed typing out this post but I just wanted to share my experiences of disengaging with Gen AI.
