New 5070 having issues

I just bought a NVIDIA 5070 to upgrade from my 3060. And I have a slight problem. The 5070 requires two PCI cables from my power supply, and I don't have the second one since my 3060 only required one. I bought a new cable that said it was compatible but my computer has been restarting and crashing and ChatGPT says that the cable I bought is third party and not trusted.
