Mora Gacha Talk
Hello and Hello again. This is NOT an update on my "The Gacha System V2". I just want to talk about some other stuff I found out about the gacha with an extra pull counter that I just found out today.
So, I found out that each banner gives you a 10 pull for the next banner if you reach a certain threshold which is, of course, 60 pulls. You hit it, and you get a 10 pull for free for the next banner which is quite interesting. That means, for the next banner to get your 50/50 and your guarantee, it is 70 pulls and 110 pulls from your own pocket. Which is...well, i guess pretty alright all things considered.
Now of course, if you hit your 50/50 and win below 50 pulls, I would suggest to not pull anymore. If you lose, well, I guess you can either pull until you get the rate up banner or just stop there depending on what you want to do. However, if you hit between the 50th and 59th pull and win your 50/50 for your rate up character, I would suggest going until you hit 60 if the next banner is a character you want. Now why you may ask?
For starters, you gain a ten pull if you hit 60 pulls anyway for the next banner. And from the 51st to the 60th pull, you also have a chance of getting another 6 star. And you build up your 50/50 pity for the next banner as well on top of gaining another 10 pull for the next banner.
Now, you must be asking, "Wouldn't this affect my 120 pity?" And the answer is...no. Well technically yes, but it improves your chances for the 120 pity actually. So here is how the math goes:
If you hit your rate up 6 star below the 50th pull for the 80 pity, 120 pity, and the 60 pull counter:
0/80 --> 49/80 --> 0/80; This happens for the 50/50 pity counter.
0/120 --> 49/120 --> 0/0; This happens for the 120 guarantee counter.
0/60 --> 49/60 --> 49/60; This happens for the 60 pull counter for the additional 10 pull for next banner.
As such, if you pull 11 more times, it is not worth it for that 10 pull. Since you would miss out on the 120 guarantee counter.
Now, let us see if you hit your rate up 6 star by the 50th 10 pull for the 80th pity, 120 pity, and the 60 pull counter.
0/80 --> 50/80 --> 0/80; This happens for the 50/50 pity counter.
0/120 --> 50/120 --> 0/0; This happens for the 120 guarantee counter.
0/60 --> 50/60 --> 50/60; This happens for the 60 pull counter for the additional 10 pull for next banner.
Since we have 10 pulls here to get to 60, it is best to pull here. Why? well, let us see.
0/80 --> 10/80; This happens after an extra 10 pulls on the 50/50 pity.
0/0 --> 0/0; This happens after an extra 10 pulls on the guarantee pity.
50/60 --> 60/60 -->0/0; This happens after an extra 10 pulls for the additional 10 pull for next banner.
Now, we received 10 pulls for next banner. Now let us see what happens if we add those 10 pulls to the next banner.
10/80 --> 20/80; This happens after you add the 10 pulls you get from the previous banner for the 50/50 pity.
0/120 --> 10/120; This happens after you add the 10 pulls you get from the previous banner for the guarantee pity.
0/60 --> 10/60; This happens after you add the 10 pulls you get from the previous banner for the additional 10 pulls you get for the next banner.
This just shows that if you win on the 50th pull, it is pretty much in your best interest to keep pulling until the 60th if the next banner is a character you want. Now if you win from the 51st to 59th, it just reduces the 50/50 pity from 20 to 11 but everything else stays the same.
Anyhow, most people pull by the 10 pull anyway so most people won't use this as much but I thought it would be fun to include for people interested about that 10 extra pulls you get from pulling 60 times. Would be hella cool if they added that for every 60 pulls instead of your first 60 because that would make pulling all that much easier actually lol.
