One Season?
I don't want to jinx the series future, but I'm curious if anyone else feels the same way. I've been dying to explore this universe post Chosen (preferably without Buffy) for ages. The Dana storyline in Angel S5 left me starving for all the potential stories we could tell thanks to Willow's spell. If this show only last one season, I think I'd be fine as long as it's a worthy 25 year later followup that I can add to my yearly rewatch ritual.
The idea of potentially knowing Willow's spell only activated a lot of individuals at once doesn't sound horrible at all. I'm not particularly excited to meet a depressed Buffy, but life isn't sunshine and rainbows. I hope the series makes great use of this angle while giving us a new slayer to love in Nova.
I think I'm mostly excited to hear the stories Buffy has to share. She can start by acknowledging her time with The Immortal, the slayer army, and clue us in on how she got to live a "normal" life for a while.
