mtf what type of minoxidil should i use for male pattern baldness?

hi so im a trans woman and my biggest insecurity is my hair. unfortunately im balding and my hair is really thin. luckily im only 21 so it hasnt gotten too bad but its still noticeable. ive been finasteride for like 8-9 months but ive heard minoxidil is better for regrowth on the parts of my hair line that have already receded. i would take oral minoxidil but i heard it makes hair grow a lot more all over your body and ur beard, so obviously i dont want that. then theres also solution and foam, im unsure which is best and if they work as well as the oral minoxidil, plus im afraid that when applying it myself ill miss areas. if any other trans women have been through the same struggles and have tried minoxidil then I'd appreciate some advice. my hair upsets me to the point that I considered detransitioning every day. without my hair im really not sure if id ever be happy being trans. thanks.
