Losing motivation to stay quit

I quit weed for what felt like the thousandth time on Halloween 2025. I was motivated to do it for:

  1. Emotional stability, I've noticed every once in a while when using cannabis I'll have a complete mental meltdown over something that in retrospect is no big deal;
  2. Sleep: Cannabis makes my insomnia short term better and long term WAY worse;
  3. Productivity: I started a new role at work that requires me to be adept with new technologies, NO WAY would I have remembered all that still using;
  4. Social: i'm asocial when I use.

Since quitting I joined a weekly aftercare group through rehab which I completed in 2018. I've also been going to meetings, working on hobbies. But the past week I've been feeling a growing dissatisfaction with being off weed despite the fact 1-3 above have improved 100% pretty much overnight. (I'm still asocial though lol)

It's not helping the weather where I live is cold, dark and miserable. Was going to walk to a meeting tonight but couldn't get motivated to brave the shit weather. Please don't tell me that I'd go to greater lengths to get my DOC. The weed store is across the street and the meeting is a half hour walk if I'm moving fast.

I've decided I need to:

  1. Go to my aftercare group tomorrow and
  2. Get back to hot yoga which has helped my mood immensely in the past, before I say fuck it. But any encouragement folks here have to offer is welcome. Also feel free to share your strategies but no advice please. Thank you all for reading <3
