Redose once vs twice

Anyone tried redosing twice rather than once? Usually take 2/3 of the pill initially, then redose the other 1/3 pill 2 hours later....heard you can extend the roll if you take the 2nd dose and split it in half and take the 2nd half 1 hour later... Heard it extends the roll from 4-5 hours to 6-7 hours.
