Getting rid of my Upper Mustache

Hi all, I have tried methods of removing my upper lip hair in the past but it seems to break me out uncontrollably every time. I’m talking 10 Pimples managed to find space on my upper lip. Does anybody have any advice for fixing this?? I used at home wax strips from flamingo so they should be sterile. Any help is appreciated, Thanks!
